Despite its continued insistence that Windows 10 isn’t spying on anyone, Microsoft has done little to convince the majority of concerned users that its latest operating system isn’t taking more data than it needs.
Most of the statistics I’m fine with them collecting, it’s stuff run through their servers and whatnot, probably just culled from diagnostic data on their end. The ones that worry me, though? Time spent in Edge and number of photos viewed in Photos. Those had better be extrapolations off of case studies or something, because that’s some creepy information collecting, otherwise.
