Or, roughly translated, ‘not more than a megabyte.’ I was quite proud of myself when I checked and found my homepage, consisting of a list of my 20 most recent posts, weighed in at less than half a megabyte.1

Oh, and a second quote- irrelevant but something I felt the need to share:

I began by replacing the image carousels with pictures of William Howard Taft, America’s greatest president by volume.

  1. And more than a quarter of that weight is the image in the top left, which I’m now thinking about downsizing because it really doesn’t need to be that large.
