Why you should be worried about Twitter→

Baldur Bjarnason:

It’s policies are vague, only cover a subset of abusive behaviour, and frequently comes across as condescending towards the abused.
“Abusive users often lose interest once they realize that you will not respond.”
Gee, thanks. I’ll try that next time!

That’s the problem I see a lot of, but as someone who stopped using their app a long time ago,1 I’ll be the first to tell you that their mobile web experience is awful. The ‘stars become hearts’ change rolled out instantly, but the mobile website still doesn’t have support for multiple images in tweets – a feature that came out in April… of last year.

  1. Long enough ago that I honestly can’t remember what the reasoning was – probably I was just annoyed by notifications, I don’t know.
