“Designers Don’t Use iPads”→

Wired:

[Brainstorming is] definitely a great way to use a 12.9-inch iPad, except for one thing: 64 percent of designers don’t brainstorm with software. They do it with pen and paper.

I’m looking forward to John Gruber seeing this piece, because the headline alone is worth some great mockery. The entire premise of the story is some guy polling people on what they do right now. “They don’t use iPads,” they say, ignoring the fact that the iPad Pro has just gone from the ‘borderline-generic tablet’ market to competing with Wacom’s Cintiq line, the de-facto standard for designers everywhere, and doing so at half the price for better functionality. That statistic is about to change.
