I did a bit of digging around in the code for this theme and disabled the display of post taxonomies. And yes, I’m aware that the definition above probably didn’t help much, so for those of you that’re confused, taxonomies in this context are the tags and categories that WordPress uses to keep things organized.
Anyhow, I switched those things off. I might bring the categories back at some point, because I’m fairly happy with how the categories are lined up right now, but the tags are a bit lackluster and mostly there for me to keep track of things on occasion.1
Maybe at some point in the future I’ll go back through all of my posts and fix them up. Won’t actually be too hard, there’s only a couple hundred of them. Sounds exactly like the kind of project that I’ll wind up doing one day when I’m really bored at work.2
